API Keys

API Keys

You can create an API key under the Settings / API keys menu using the NEW API key option.

Important: When setting up an API connection, always verify which version of the API key your plugin or extension uses: V3 or V2.

  • V3 API key: Only a public key is required for the connection.

  • V2 API key: Both a public and a private key are needed. You can access the private key by clicking the shield icon in the row of the generated API key.

Please note that we no longer perform further developments on the V2 API. If you want to access the latest modern developments, we recommend switching to a V3 API connection for custom developments.

The list displays:

  • The name of the extension/add-on the key is linked to.

  • The scope (for V3: Read, or Read and Write).

  • The creation date.

  • The version number.

Keys can be modified or deleted at any time.
